Colorado Springs Car Accident Injures Pedestrian

A pedestrian was injured in a Colorado Springs car accident on Thursday. The driver of the car first drove into a home and then as he tried to drive away he hit a pedestrian. The pedestrian was injured.

The driver

was driving on North Carefree Circle in northeast Colorado Springs shortly before 4:45 p.m. when he lost control of his vehicle on an icy spot while attempting to make a left turn.

He also drove into a retaining wall and a parked car before fleeing the scene. He was found by the police but resisted arrest. He will be charged with mulitiple offenses. He is currently in the county jail. It is believed that alcohol was a factor in the accident.
